Our facilities include various learning areas, educational resources, safe play spaces, and a fenced backyard. We are located in Pleasanton, very close to Ken Mercer Park, and we offer full-time care options. It will be an honor to welcome you and have you become part of our educational community.
Pilcates Home Daycare is a year-round childcare program serving children from infancy to preschool age. Here, children feel at home—they play, learn, laugh, and grow in a safe and loving environment.
We offer educational and engaging activities that help children build confidence, curiosity, and independence. At Pilcates, every child is valued and guided with respect. We also work side to side with families to support each child’s social and emotional development.

At Pilcates Home Daycare, we meet all state licensing requirements and training, including:

- A supervised environment that complies with health and safety regulations.

Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

My name is Lorena Pérez Rodríguez. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and am a licensed child care provider in the State of California. I have 18 years of experience as a classroom teacher in an elementary school in Mexico, working with children ages 6 to 12. In addition, I have worked as a nanny in various homes, and for the past 3 years in Pleasanton, I have been dedicated to the care and education of children between 4 months and 2 years old in a child care center.
My professional career has always been closely tied to working with children, which brings me great joy, as I have dreamed of being a teacher since I was little. For me, working with babies and young children is a deeply enriching experience, as it allows me to support their holistic development—nurturing their learning, well-being, and cognitive, social, and emotional growth in a safe and loving environment.
